Tuning 535 or 600cc: GW Racing Parts

  • Hello and Merry Christmas to all !

I am about to start a SR 500 tuning project. I found this german company http://www.gw-racing-parts.de.

Anyone have any experience with this company?

They have two tuning stages: 90mm (535cc) and 600cc. I'm not sure what I should chose.

I have no idea what the difference between 535 and 600 will be in terms of horsepowers ??

What I want is a regular street bike with some extra overall power. I want some surplus in the lower region but still maintain the classic SR fresh top end power. I want to have it vibrate as little as possible (for a single).

    Best regards
    Malte

I'm looking for an SR 500 from before 1982. I live in Denmark, please send me an e-mail if you have one for sale :)

  • Hi,
I had a Camshaft called gw1. The quality was very good.
In a 535cc Engine is a 90mm Piston. The Engine runs better in higher speeds.
600cc Engines goes better in all regions.
Ask Karsten if you want more Infos about. He has a 600cc Engine in his XT maybe he sells it?!
