    I'd like to know the brand and the original material of the sr 500 '79 like mine.
    I restored it and I saw that were Radaelli and steel made, so I look for the original. Is there a sense to look for in Ebay-de?

    the original rims are 19/1.85" front and 18/2.15" rear, aluminium, not steel ...

    original rims of your model have been made by Takasago


    company changed name and nowadays rims name are Excel


    width is for 2J4 models front and rear 1.85"


    Joe: 2.15" width for rear rim was introduced in 1984 for 48T model and rim style changed too
